A new block has been added to Council Platform that embeds a row of the latest news posts. This feed can be filtered to display news posts of a specific category.

To help make it easier to find specific media files, we've added the ability to Council Platform for users to create folders inside the Media Library and group media files inside them.

As part of a quality-of-life update, we've rolled out a new feature for detecting duplicate media files. Rather than having to comb through the Media Library, you can now generate a report with a button click showing all the duplicate files on your site.

We'd like to introduce Doc2Page, an online tool built by us that converts document files such as PDFs and Word documents to HTML webpages. Watch the video overleaf to see how fast it goes from a file to a fully-featured webpage.

Microsites functionality has been in the Platform since its earliest days, as it was a requirement of a project we delivered for Warrington Borough Council in 2021. We've since refined the proposition to make it even easier to create and run multiple sites from a single codebase.

This week's Feature Focus video shows you how to create a Site Alert. Site Alerts are banner messages designed to communicate important information to any users who visit the site. There are several types of alert to choose from and you can specify if they appear at the top of every page or for a specified group of pages.

This short video shows you how to set pages to be automatically published or unpublished at a specific time.

In this week's Feature Focus video, we show you how to quickly create interactive online maps by assigning pages with street addresses that automatically populate the map with locations and a links to those pages.

We show you how to add a new page to the site's A-Z index. This index page helps users find the content they're looking for.

In this post we show you how to quickly create Events and set their frequency and date. Events are automatically displayed on a calendar page to allow users to easily track what's coming up in your borough.
