There are times when you'll need to apply the same change to multiple webpages. For example, maybe you need to change the page layout to take advantage of a design change, or a new affiliate organisation needs to have their link added to the pages' sidebars.

Council Platform allows you to edit multiple pages simultaneously. When you select the content items you wish to change and click the multiple edit option, a page with all the fields and settings the content items have in common will be shown for you to edit. In this way changes can be applied to multiple pieces of content.

To apply a change to multiple pages:

1. Go to the site's Content Index.
2. Select all the content items you wish to edit.
3. Select the "Modify field values" option.
4. Make the changes you wish to apply to all the selected pages.
5. Click "Apply".
